Race Description

• Event: A classic Brunswick 5k is returning!
• Course: Join us for a flat and scenic run through downtown Brunswick on a USTAF certified course.
• Post-Race: After the race, join in on a fun day of activities.
• Inclusion: Race registration includes a free entry into the Stewbilee, an $8 value! your BIB is your ticket!

• Presented by: Golden Isles Track Club in partnership with the Kiwanis Club.
• Beneficiary: This event proudly benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia.
• Registration: Register by 2/16/2026 to guarantee a shirt!

Event Highlights

• Cooking Competition: Each year, cooking teams from near and far compete for the best stew, with awards for the Peoples' Choice and Judges' Award.
• Activities: The day-long event features live music, a classic and antique car show, and sampling of the best Brunswick stew in the nation.

• Overall Winners: Overall Male & Female (Free pair shoes from Game Changers Running Company)
• Age Groups: Masters Male & Female (40+)
• Top Finishers: Top 3 Male and Female Runners in each age group.
• Categories: Age Groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Schedule

• Friday 2/27: Pre-race day 5k Packet Pickup at Game Changers Running Company on St. Simons Island from 4pm - 6pm.
• Saturday 2/28 Morning: Race day 5k Packet Pickup & Registration from 7:30am - 8:15am.
• 5k Race: Starts at 8:30am - 9:30am.
• Awards: 5k Race Awards (from the stage) at 9:30am.

Activities and Entertainment

• Vendors: Arts & Crafts Vendors from 10am – 2pm.
• Live Music: Joe King from 10am – 12pm.
• Car Show: 11am - 2pm.
• Stew Tasting: Brunswick Rockin’ Stew Tasting from 11am – 2pm.
• Live Music: Dream Team from 12:15pm – 2:30pm.
