Black River Trail (15K, 10K, 5K)

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 5th annual Black River Trail (15K, 10K, 5K) promises to be a fun packed Saturday (May 2, 2026) with the running events held along the beautiful fully paved Black River Trail on the outskirts of Watertown, NY. Join us at the nearby Garland City Brewery (321 Howk St, Watertown, NY 13601) after the race.

📏 Race Distances

• Variety: Choose between the 5K, 10K or 15K Combo.
• Challenge: Put on your ruck vest and power through either the 5K or 10K.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Winners: Awards for Overall male/female.
• Masters Winners: Awards for Masters overall male/female.
• Age Groups: Awards for age group winners.
• Ruck Division: Will require a minimum of 20lb carry.

❤️ Community Benefit

Once again, this year's Black River Trail event will benefit the Volunteer Transportation Center, a not-for-profit whose mission is to provide transportation to health, wellness, and critical needs destinations utilizing volunteers and mobility management for anyone who has barriers to transportation. We love them as they do great and necessary work within the Greater Watertown community.
