Blackberry Festival 5K Overview

Join us for the 4th Annual Blackberry Festival 5K at the Carlisle Blackberry Festival! The 2026 Blackberry Festival 5K is Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 8:00am in the heart of downtown Carlisle. The race will include an in-person 5K run/walk, Fastest Kid in Town race, and virtual option. Our 2025 race will support Nicholas County Carlisle Tourism.

• Chip Timing: Timed by RaceRise!
• Awards: Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in 10-year age groups.

Fastest Kid in Town Races

This event is open to all kids 12 and under and is a FREE EVENT. Parents may add on a commemorative shirt for $10. We will have run-offs by age (2-12) and then have a final Fastest Kid in Town race with all of the age category winners. Kids will receive a participation medal.

5K Awards

We will provide awards for the Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers as well as Top 2 M/F in each age group: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&plus:.

Packet Pickup

Our packet pickup will be on race morning (Saturday, July 4th) from 6:30-7:45am in downtown Carlisle.
