Event Details
- Date: October 30th.
- Type: Friday pre-halloween Evening Run
- Start Time: 6:30pm
- Location: 707 West Hornet Avenue, Alameda, CA
Unique Race Experience
- Partnership: We have partnered with the USS Hornet to bring back a super fun and unique race experience to Alameda.
- Twilight Run: Our "day of the dead" Twilight Run is back, just moving the date slightly to coincide with Halloween.
- Beneficiary: The event will still benefit the USS Hornet Museum.
- Headlamps: Sunset is scheduled that evening for 6:12pm, so headlamps are recommended but we will have lights on the course.
Costume and Route
- Costume: Costume highly recommended and encouraged!
- Course: The run will take you for a scenic loop around Alameda Point, starting and finishing at the Pier.
- Views: Runners will enjoy views of San Francisco, spirit alley and the estuary shoreline along the flat and fast 5k course.
- Post-Race Activities: There will be our normal beer garden, food, music and Age Group awards.
Kids Run & Parking
- Kids Run: THERE IS NO KIDS RUN FOR 2026 - DUE TO TRAFFIC CONCERNS ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
- Parking: There is plenty of parking at the Hornet and around Alameda Point.

- Packet pick-up: Lauren's Closet: 1420 Park St: October 28th - 29th: 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Race day Registration and Packet Pick-up: USS Hornet: 4:30pm
- 5K run starts: 6:30pm
- 5K awards: 7:15pm
- Expo and music: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
