Death by 5k Tulsa

Event Overview

Death by 5k is coming back to Tulsa for year 4! Heat, hail, high winds, torrential rain....Tulsa is always an exciting time!

Race Details

• Challenge type: Participants run ten 5ks starting one every 2.5 hours, for 24 hours.
• Start times: The first 5k starts at 8 am, with subsequent races at 10:30, 1, 3:30, 6, 8:30, 11, 1:30, 4, and 6:30 am.
• Requirements: Finish each 5k before the next starts: headlamps or some illumination are required.
• Location: Starts and finishes at the new River West 23rd St Park, on the paved river trail.

Resting Facilities

• Rest options: Participants can sleep in their cars or set up tents at the park.
• Space availability: Plenty of room for pop-up or camping tents.
• Departure: Participants can leave between 5ks if needed.
• Food provisions: Prepared food at 8:30 am, 1:30 pm, 9 pm, and 4:30 am.

Event Amenities

• Snacks: Available throughout the event, including water and Gatorade.
• Participant swag: Event shirt and other additional goodies.
• Finishers' awards: Coveted coffin awards and pride for surviving the challenge.
• Registration limit: Initially limited to 300 participants: waitlist available.
