Blue Ridge Freedom 5K

Event Overview

We are so excited to be back with our 4th of July celebration run to be held July 4, 2026.

Race Location

• Address: 342 E Main St, Blue Ridge, GA 30513
• Centrally Located: Our race is situated between two amazing local businesses in Blue Ridge.
• Local Highlights: Check out Blue Ridge Sip and Play for some pup playtime and Angry Hops Brewing for amazing brews.
• Special Offer: Show your bib at Angry Hops anytime during the holiday week for a complimentary beer sample.

Packet Pickup Information

• Early Pickup Dates: July 2nd and 3rd are highly recommended.
• New This Year: Additional bib pickup on July 2nd from 4-6:30 at Angry Hops, 341 East Main Street.
• July 3rd Pickup: From 2-5:30 pm at Angry Hops Brewery, 341 East Main Street.
• Race Day Pickup: July 4 from 6:00 am - 7:15 am at Angry Hops.

Race Day Amenities

• Hydration Station: Sip and Play will have a doggie water station for furry runners and mimosas after the race.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Angry Hops will be open to serve refreshing beers to our thirsty runners.
• Online Registration: Open through July 4 at 7:15 a.m. All registration is online: no walk-up registration.
• Most Spirited Awards: Awards for the most creative red, white, and blue dressed runners.

Awards and Categories

• Award Categories: 1st through 3rd for overall male and female, masters male and female, and age groups in five-year increments.
• Awards Ceremony: Will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m.
• Discount Pricing: Available for children under 10.
• Participation: Strollers and dogs are welcome at the back of the pack. Walkers are always welcome!

Important Notes

• Text Results: Please register to receive a text message of your results. Results will be online during the race.
• Recommended Pickup: Early bib pickup on July 2nd or 3rd is highly recommended!
