Vibrant City: The city of Orangeburg will be a hotbed for excitement, energy and enthusiasm.
Annual Event: Join us for the 6th Annual Bulldogs on the Run 5K & Bark.
Purpose: The mission of the event is to promote health and fitness, while providing financial support to students attending South Carolina State University.
Course Details: The 5K is a 3.1 mile course that will occur in the downtown area of the Garden City.
Bark Event Details
Bark Route: The Bark is a 1.0 mile out-and-back route that will stretch along the outskirts of the 5K route.
Starting Address: The starting address is the same as the 5K, listed above.
Packet Pick Up
Times: You will be able to pick up packets for friends and family.
Date: Friday, October 23 (5:00pm - 7:30pm, TBD)
Event Day: Saturday, October 24, 2026 (6:30am - 7:05am, TBA)
T-Shirts
Eligibility: Every participant that signs up by October 5, 2026 will receive a t-shirt.
5K Shirts: 5K participants will receive a multi-blend t-shirt.
Bark Shirts: Bark participants will be the recipient of a cotton t-shirt.
Size Policy: Shirts are ordered based on the sizes indicated during online registration. NO SWITCHING SIZES – NO EXCEPTIONS!
Finishers: All Bulldogs On The Run 5K participants will receive a custom finisher medal after crossing the finish line.

Awards: 1st Place, 2nd & 3rd place for Male and Female

Timing
Partnership: We have partnered with Simply Timing to time this year's event.
Timing System: Using RM Timing Systems, all 5K participants will be timed.
Tag: Participants will receive their disposable timing tag during packet pick up.
Refunds and Transfers
Policy: Registration fees are non-refundable.
Transfer Restrictions: Event registrations are non-transferable between individuals, events, or years.
Medic/First Aid
Location: There will be a medical tent located at the finish line in case of emergency or any medical needs.
Weather Policy
Races Held: The races will be held, rain or shine, unless Bulldogs On The Run determines that conditions are too dangerous.
Decision Authority: This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend or race day by Bulldogs On The Run and local law enforcement officials.
Cancellation Policy: If the race is canceled due to inclement weather there will be neither refunds nor transfers.
Right Reserved: Bulldogs On The Run reserves the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race.
Parking
Arrival: PLEASE arrive in time to park.

Entertainment
Live Performance: We are so excited to have FADE (Forever and A Day Experience) at the Start and Finish line to energize the runners and maintain the fun!
Bib-Transfers
Transfer Policy: While we do not offer refunds, we do allow for bib transfers.
Transfer Fee: Bib transfers can be completed for a $15 fee through our site at runsignup.com.
Recipient Agreement: Those who transfer their bibs will have to work out any payment agreement with the recipient on their own.
