Event Overview
Ridge Runners Racing, in partnership with Big Rex Fireworks, proudly presents Big Rex's Bottle Rocket 5K and Little Rex’s Kids Fun Run (.76 mile). This event will take place on Saturday July 4, 2026 in cooperation with the city of Dry Ridge, Kentucky.
Race Schedule
- Kids Fun Run: Starts at 8:30 AM.
- 5K Start Time: Begins at 9:00 AM.
- Starting Point: Both races will start at the City Building.
- Finish Line: Both races will finish inside Piddle Park (check out the Course Maps section for more details).
Post-Race Celebration
Hang out afterward at the Post-Race Party at Piddle Park where you can enjoy food and drink from a variety of vendors while enjoying a concert headlined by Nashville recording artist Taylor Henry as we celebrate 250 years of independence in our beloved nation. Registration Information
- Registration Deadline: Register before Midnight May 31, 2026 to guarantee an event shirt.
- Special Prize: Be entered into a drawing for a $100 Shoe Certificate from Tri-State Running Company.
- Drawing Details: The drawing will take place at the conclusion of the 5K Awards (must be present to win).
