Kick off your Strawberry Festival weekend with the 5K or 1 Mile walk/run presented by Wallace Parks and Recreation.

Event Details

• Location: 513 SE Railroad Road, Wallace, NC
• Start/Finish: Campbell Center at Clement Park
• 5K: Perfect for runners and walkers of all skill levels!
• Strawberry Jam: A 1 Mile non-timed event suitable for all ages—walk or run 4 laps at the track at Clement Park.

Registration Includes

• Shirt: Receive a commemorative event shirt.
• Finisher Medal: 5K participants receive a medal: special treats for 1 Mile finishers.
• Top Age Group Awards: Recognizing outstanding participants.
• Fun Morning: Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere to kick off the Strawberry Festival.

Community Support

Wallace Parks and Recreation is currently working on a project that would allow children with disabilities to have a safe and accommodating playground to enjoy. We believe every child, regardless of disability, deserves the opportunity to have a normal childhood. Together, we as a community can help make this happen! All proceeds from this year's 5K sign-ups will go to help fund the new Inclusive Playground at Clement Park!
