🏃‍♂️ Cavanal Killer 8k Overview

The Poteau Chamber of Commerce will host the 18th annual Cavanal Killer 8k on May 10th. If you are not familiar with this event, it's a one way 5 mile trip to the top of the world's highest hill (elevation at the top: 1999 ft.). After finish and enjoying refreshments at the top, participants are shuttled back down to the start.

💪 Event Purpose

This event is designed to promote fitness and inspiring participants with the great accomplishment of getting to the top, whether it be by walking, jogging, or running.

📅 Event Details

• Flat Online Registration Fee: $35 until April 25th (also the shirt deadline), $40 after April 25th
• Start Location: Poteau Primary School - 407 Hughes Drive Poteau, OK 74953
• Start Time: 9:00 am (Registration/Packet Pickup will open at 8:00 am)
• Early Packet Pickup: Packets can be picked up on Thursday, May 8th and Friday, May 9th at the Chamber of Commerce office from 9am to 5pm. 501 S Broadway St, Poteau, OK

T-shirt 👕 Information

Provided to all participants who sign up by April 25th will receive a shirt. First come first serve for late sign ups.

🏅 Awards

All finishers will receive a finishers medal.

🍉 Refreshments

There are several aide stations on the course and fruit, water, and other snacks at the top.

This event is non-refundable. You may switch your registration to someone else, but no refunds will be issued.
