Run For Life – 5K & 1K Fun Run/Walk

Kick off the 2026 Relay For Life season with the Run For Life 5K & 1K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Nandua High School. Hosted by the Relay For Life of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, this family-friendly event is a great way to get moving, support a meaningful cause, and enjoy a fun morning with the community.

Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking for a relaxed walk with friends and family, there’s an option for everyone. Packet and bib pickup will take place from 9:00–9:50 AM, with the 5K starting at 10:00 AM and the 1K beginning at 11:00 AM.

Registration Fees

• 5K: $40
• 1K: $30

Your entry includes:

• Race bib
• Water and snacks after the race
• Event T-shirt (guaranteed for those registered by March 10)
• Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in two age groups:

18 & under
19 & above

Extras

• Delicious BBQ plates available for purchase after the race!
