🏃‍♂️ The Cheesy Pretzel 5K is Back!

• Event Details: The Cheesy Pretzel 5K & 1 Mile Walk is a USATF certified 5K event [IL23028NM] that winds through The Promenade Bolingbrook and surrounding neighborhoods.
• Participant Perks: All participants in the 5K and 1 Mile Walk will receive an order of Pretzel Bites and Cheese!
• Special Gifts: The first 500 registered participants will receive a moisture wicking long sleeve shirt & Cheesy Pretzel Finisher Medal!
• Stroller Policy: Strollers and walkers are welcome. Stroller riders are free but will not receive a race shirt or finisher's medal.

• Initial Registration: The first 500 Participants to Register (5K or 1 Mile Walk) will receive a custom finisher medal.
• Shirt Gift: A Dry-Fit Long Sleeve Shirt will be provided to the first 500 registrants.

💰 Registration Fees

• 5K Registration Fee: $30, if registered by August 31, 2025. at 11:59 pm
• 5K Late Fee: $35, if registered by October 4, 2025 at 11:59 pm
• Race Day Registration: $40 on race day
• Similar Fees for 1 Mile Walk: $30 if registered by August 31, $35 if registered by October 4, and $40 on race day.

📅 Event Schedule

• 7:00 am: Day of Packet Pickup & Day of Registration Opens
• 7:30 am: Warm-up
• 8:00 am: 5K Start Time
• 8:05 am: 1 Mile Walk Start Time

There will be an awards presentation for the 5K event following the race. Trophies will be presented to the fastest overall male and female runners. First, Second & Third Place Medals will be awarded to the top male and top female finishers in each age category.

📋 Shirt Size Information

Shirt size preferences will be first come, first serve: corresponding to each participant's race registration date. If a specific size runs out, participants can choose a different size or wait for their size to be re-ordered.

🍽️ Post-Race Refreshments

Post-race refreshments will be provided.

📦 Advance Packet Pick Up

We are offering Packet Pick-Up times before the event at [Location TBA, Bolingbrook]. Avoid race day lines, and come by to pick up your shirt, race bib, free raffle ticket, and other materials.

The Cheesy Pretzel 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk is a fundraising event necessary to help raise funds needed to support struggling teens through industry-leading programs and services. Our Charity of Choice program helps you raise money for your favorite local charitable organization. Choose to be a fundraiser and collect pledges to benefit one of several charitable organizations in and around Bolingbrook or make a donation when you register.
