Race Description

• Half Marathon: Runners will traverse the Sacramento River, crossing three bridges: the Sundial Bridge, the Ribbon Bridge, and the Diestelhorst Bridge.
• Course Path: Starting at the Turtle Bay Sundial Bridge, runners will follow paved paths in a park setting before reaching Middle Creek trail for an out-and-back segment (2 miles).
• Return Route: After returning to the River Trail, they will cross back on the Diestelhorst Bridge and head towards the Sundial Bridge to complete the course.
• Distance Choices: The event includes a 10K race and a 2-mile run/walk, making it family-friendly.

Certification and Timing

• Certified Distances: The half marathon and the 10K are certified by the American Track and Field Association.
• Electronic Timing: Each runner will have electronic tracking on their race bib, continuing from previous years due to positive feedback.
• Age Division Winners: Acknowledgment of winners in 5-year increments starting from “under 15 years of age.”
• Additional Divisions: For the 2-mile run, there will be three divisions starting at 5 years and under.

Sponsorship and Entries

• Free Entry: Sponsors receive one free entry into the division of their choice.

• School Team Entries: Students can be registered by their school/coach for $10.00, without a shirt, available for high school or younger.

Packet Pickup

• Location: Fleet Feet, 1376 Hilltop Drive, Redding California, 96003.
• Pickup Times: Saturday, October 3rd from 12 PM to 2 PM or on race day, October 4th from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
• Important Deadline: Forms and payments for student entries must be received by September 25th, 2026.
• Shirt Availability: Please note that if you sign up after September 11th, 2026, you may not receive a shirt.
