Description

• Trail Races: Fleet Feet Chico is pleased to offer three trail races in our beautiful Upper Bidwell Park.
• Start Location: The races will start on the south side of the park down Annies Trail.
• Course Features: Enjoy a fun adventure on single-track trails, a creek crossing, and a finish through Yahi and the golf course.
• Race Options: The races include a half marathon, a 4-mile endurance challenge, and a new one loop 4-mile option.

Race Start Times

• 4-Mile Endurance Run: 8:00am
• 4-Mile One Loop Run: 8:00am
• Half Marathon: 8:10am

Registration

• Online Registration: Closes October 16th at 9:00am.
• In-Person Registration: Available on October 16th and 17th at Fleet Feet Chico from 10am-2pm.
• Shirt Guarantee: Register by Friday, September 25th to guarantee a race shirt.
• Shirt Availability: Shirts will be first come first serve after September 28th.

Race Fee Schedule

• Oct 21st – Dec 31st: Half Marathon / 4-Mile Endurance Run - $80.00
• Jan 1st – May 31st: Half Marathon / 4-Mile Endurance Run - $85.00
• June 1st - Sept 30th: Half Marathon / 4-Mile Endurance Run - $90.00
• Oct 1st - Oct 16th: Half Marathon - $95.00: 4-Mile Endurance Run - $95.00

Pre-Race Shake Out Run and Social

• Date: Saturday, October 17th at 7:30am.
• Location: Horseshoe Lake Parking Lot (Parking Lot E).
• Details: Join us for a beautiful 4-mile run, coffee, muffins, and smiles!
• Pre-Race Social: 5:00-7:00pm Saturday at Bidwell Golf Course Clubhouse.

Packet Pickup

• Location: Fleet Feet Chico.
• Dates: October 16th and 17th, 2026.
• Time: 10:00am-2:00pm.
• Race Day Pickup: Sunday, October 18th from 6:45 - 7:45am.

Race Rules

• Overtaking: Be courteous when overtaking slower runners.
• Trail Etiquette: Call out “runner back” or “runner up” when on the trails.
• Course Markings: Follow all trail marking and do not remove any course markings.
• No Pets or Strollers: Pets and strollers are not allowed on the course.

Aid Stations and Restrooms

There will be aid stations available for all races.

• Half Marathon: 3 Aid Stations.
• 4-Mile Challenge: 2 Aid Stations.
• Post-Race Fuel: Available at the start/finish area.
• Hydration: We encourage runners to use their own vessels or a HydraPak reusable SpeedCup.

Post Race Refreshments

• Breakfast Burrito: All participants receive a fresh burrito.
• Discount: 15% off food for race participants at the clubhouse.
• Beer Garden: Provided by Ramble West at Yahi Trail/Golf Course Parking Lot.

T-Shirts and Awards

• Tee-shirt Cutoff: Guaranteed by September 25th, 2026.
• Awards: Top male and female winners in both races and age group awards.
• Prize for Endurance Challenge: Awards for top finishers in the endurance race.
• Age Groups: Various brackets from 14 and under to 70 and over.
