MCG White Coat Dash 5k

The student doctors of MCG Run Club understand that health transcends the four walls of the clinic. The MCG White Coat Dash 5k is an event that aims to bring students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members together to celebrate the amazing physical and mental health benefits  hat being active brings.

Whether you are the everyday runner, first time 5k'er, or experienced walker, we are excited to invite you to join us on Pi Day to commemorate everyone striving to build healthier habits. Pi may be irrational, but choosing to move isn’t!

All proceeds directly benefit the MCG Student Run Clinics. These are student doctors who are dedicated to improving the health of Augusta's underserved communities through providing free healthcare and helping patients live healthier lifestyles.

Top 3 MALES AND FEMALES in (1) Student, (2) Faculty/Staff/Alumni, and (3) General Public categories will receive the following awards:

Bib Packet Pickup:

There will be 2 options for packet pickup:

Medical College of Georgia J. Harold Harrison Lobby towards Einstein Bagels from 11am to 12:30pm 
Day of Race Bib Packet Pick Up at AU Summerville Campus, Douglas Barnard Amphitheater begins at 8am (2500 Walton Wy, Augusta, GA 30904) 

Raceday Schedule

8am: Bib pickup and Check-in

10am: Race Start!

11:30am: Awards Ceremony

Bib Pickup and Check-In are separate processes. All runners MUST check-in morning of the race! At Check-in you will receive a timing chip that is to be worn during the duration of the 5k. Please make sure this timing chip stays with you at all times to ensure accurate results and recordings. This chip is to be returned at the finish line of the race!

Parking:

Parking at AU Summerville Campus is free on the weekends! Please note that part of the 5k route does go through parking lots so please exercise caution and patience when driving between the hours of 10am-11:30am.

Other Reminders: 

- Please make sure to arrive at 9:15 am to avoid lines and ensure that you get to the start line on time!

- Water and Gatorade will be provided at Aid stations and at the finish, but please be prepared for warm weather and bring you own hydration!
