Age Requirement

• Minimum Age: 14 years old
• Eligibility: Must be 14 years old by December 12, 2026 to register.

Route Description

• Half Marathon: Flat and fast course through Graywood Plantation community.
• Fun Run: 1 mile out and back course starting at the 1/2 marathon starting line.

Registration Fees

• $90: February 1 - October 31
• $95: November 1 - November 22 (T-Shirt Deadline is November 22)
• $100: November 23 - December 10
• $120: December 11 - 12 (Online registration at packet pickup)

LAR does not offer Age Based pricing for the Swamp Stomp Half Marathon or 1 Mile Fun Run.

Packet Pickup

• Friday, December 11, 2026: House of Sole Running Shoes, 3113 Ryan St #3, Lake Charles, LA from 12pm to 5:45pm
• Saturday, December 12, 2026: Graywood Plantation Park, 3861 Gray Market Drive, Lake Charles, LA from 6:00AM - 6:45AM

Race Day Schedule

• Half Marathon:
  • 6:00AM - Packet pickup and race day registration opens
  • 6:30AM - Race day registration closes
  • 6:50AM - Pre race meeting
  • 7:00AM - Half Marathon race begins
• 1 Mile Fun Run:
  • 6:00AM - Packet pickup and race day registration begins
  • 7:10AM - Pre race meeting
  • 7:15AM - 1 Mile Fun Run begins
  • 7:45AM - Firm cutoff for the 1 Mile Fun Run

Awards

• Half Marathon: Overall Male & Female, Top 3 in various age groups.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: Overall Male & Female, all participants receive a finisher's medal.

T-shirts

• Included: Short sleeved performance shirts for registered participants.
• Purchase: Available for $25 through November 22, 2026.

Finisher's Swag: Medal & Jacket

• Tradition: Medals & jackets awarded to finishers.
• Eligibility: Must finish the race to receive swag.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Non-refundable: No refunds or transfers.
• Cancellation: No refunds issued if event is cancelled due to circumstances out of our control.

Parking

Limited parking at Graywood Golf club. No parking at Graywood Racquet Club. Please carpool and do not park on the grass.
