Event Overview
We are excited to invite you to the Lake Nebagamon Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Dragin’ Tail 5-Mile Walk/Run, taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 8:00 AM, starting at the Lake Nebagamon Village Auditorium.
Fundraising Importance
- Community Tradition: This long-standing community tradition serves as an important fundraiser for our volunteer fire department.
- Emergency Response: Our members dedicate countless hours and put themselves at risk responding to emergencies throughout Lake Nebagamon and the surrounding areas.
- Equipment Needs: Funds raised support the purchase of essential equipment such as personal protective gear, medical supplies, firefighting tools, and communication devices.
- Fundraising Goal: This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 to upgrade critical safety gear and purchase battery-powered extrication tools that enhance rescue efforts and firefighter safety.
