It's time for our Lucky 8 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk on 8/8/26!!!

Date: August 8, 2026

Address: 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) Start and finish at the blue arch near the restrooms on the north end of the parking lot closer to Claremont Ave.

Schedule

• Check-in: 6:45-7:30AM for everyone
• Start Time: 7:30AM

Course Information

• Course Map: Marked with cones, chalk, and a sign at each turn around point.
• 5k: Out and back route Map Here
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops.
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops.
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop Map Here.

Registration and Pricing

• Cost: Affordable fee that provides fun for the whole family!
• Group Discounts: Available for 3 or more people, auto-applied on Race Ascend.
• Special Offer: Group discounts for 5 or more people by emailing abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for registration.
• Restrictions: NO REFUNDS, NO BANDITS

Accessibility

Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon: if more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for an early start.

Post Race Information

All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event at www.abetterworldrunning.com.

We emphasize a more relaxed, fun, and personal racing experience!
