Welcome to the South Padre Island Muzicians Run 5k/10k!
SATURDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 24, 2026... IT'S NOT A RUN, IT'S AN EXPERIENCE!
Many Distances. One Finish Line Celebration!
The South Padre Island Muzicians Run 5k/10k is making running fun by infusing the course with LIVE Mariachis along the course about every half mile and rewarding participants with tacos, beer & margaritas at the finish!

- 10:30 am - 4:30 pm: Expo, Packet Pick-Up & Same Day Registration
- 4:50 pm: Announcements & National Anthem
- 5:00 pm: 5k/10k/1Mile Start Time
- 5:30/5:45 pm: After Race Party Begins
Expo & Packet Pick-Up
Pick up your race packet and enjoy the expo! Packet pick-up will take place the day of the run, Saturday 10/24 from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm under La Palapa.
Parking
- Free Parking: Beach Waterpark offers free parking.
- Plan Ahead: Arrive early to enjoy the expo and relax!
Run Courses
The run features flat out-and-back courses that start about an hour before sunset, with a loose open time of 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Costume Guidelines
Wear your favorite running apparel or get creative with costumes. A costume contest will also be held at the after party!
Awards
Age Group Awards and Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Female and Male categories in both the 5K and 10K will be presented!
Muzicians After Party
After the run, enjoy a party with your free taco and drink while listening to live entertainment!
