Event Overview
Join us for our 10th annual race this June! Get off the pavement and come explore the Big Sky on this county road race on the Geyser Cutoff Road between Geraldine and Geyser, Montana. Explore the hidden treasures in your own back yard as you run through the hills and onto the prairie finishing the race on Main Street, Geraldine, Montana!!
Race Details
- Events: Half Marathon, 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run
- Scenery: Beautiful, Central Montana scenery!
- 5K Course: A gradual descent into town featuring Square Butte and Round Butte mountains.
- Half Marathon Course: Traverses the foothills between the Highwood Mountains and Round Butte.
Additional Information
We will have post-race craft beer & ice cream along with food vendors during and following the race. Enjoy the day with all of those attending the Geraldine Fun Day!
Registration and Packet Pickup
- Half Marathon: 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.
- 5K: 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
- Bus Departure: (Fresh Start Co-Op Grocery Store)
- Half Marathon: 7:30 a.m.; 5K: 8:30 a.m.
Race Schedule
- Half Marathon: 8:15 a.m.
- 5K: 9:00 a.m.
- 1 Mile Fun Run: 10:45 a.m.
Race Shirts
Sign up by June 6th to guarantee a shirt on race day or arrange to pick it up from Kalyn at a later date (no mail delivery for late sign up).
Awards
- Categories: 1st - 3rd place finishers in Youth (12 under), Junior (13-18), and Adult (19+) divisions for the 5K and Half Marathon.
- Additional Awards: Awards for 1st place age group winners (additional divisions).
- Award Ceremony: 11:15 a.m.
- Mailing Address: Please ensure that we have your correct mailing address at registration.
Important Notes
If you are already signed up to run a race (5K / Half) and then would like to run the Fun Run with your child(ren) or others - please do not sign up a second time. Only sign up the new runners and select a shirt for them ONLY. Shirts to participants only.
