St. Urho 5K/10K

Event Overview

Join us for the 45th Annual St. Urho 5k walk/run and 10k run! This event is put on by the UNC Cross Country Booster Club and all proceeds benefit the UNC cross-country athletes.

Race Details

• 5k Start: Starts on the east side of the high school in the parking lot and finishes at the St. Urho statue.
• 10k Start: Starts by the ball fields, runs around Stocking Lake (including a trail component) and finishes at the St. Urho statue.
• Stroller Division: There is a 5k stroller division for those who have an extra "running buddy."
• Prizes: Many prizes donated by area businesses including the grand prize of a Garmin watch for participants who stay after the race.

Prizes & Awards

• Prize Draw: Other prizes include six $100 gift certificates to the Endurunce Shop in Brainerd/St. Cloud and TC Running Company.
• Local Swag: Additional local gift certificates and donated swag from local businesses.
• Last Year's Donations: Well over $1200 worth of prizes donated last year.
• Awards Timing: Race starts at 9 and prizes will start at 10:30. In case of rain, prizes will be awarded in the Menahga high school commons.

Registration Fees

• Early Sign Up Discount: Through July 4: $20 for kids 0-17 and seniors 65+: $25 for 18-64 years old.
• Race Week Fees: $25 for kids 0-17 and seniors 65+: $30 for 18-64 years old.
• T-shirt Guarantee: Sign up before July 9th to be guaranteed a T-shirt. After that, it will be first come first serve for any extras we have printed.

Packet Pickup

• Schedule: Packet pickup and same day registration from 5 to 7:30 on Friday evening.
• Saturday Pickup: 7 to 8:30 on Saturday morning in the Menahga High School commons on the south side of the school.

The race will take place at 216 Aspen Ave SE, Menahga, MN.
