Enjoy the stunning views of Red Rock Canyon while helping us preserve and protect your beautiful public lands!

Tortoise Trot 5K Walk/Run

• Course: A 5k-ish trail run/walk starting and finishing at the Visitor Center.
• Scenery: The scenic Tortoise Trot course provides a 360-degree view of one of Southern Nevada’s most spectacular vistas.
• Family Friendly: Part road, part trail, this event will be fun for the whole family. Participants aged 5 to 11 must be accompanied by an adult for safety.
• Registration Limit: The run is limited to 300 runners or walkers, so register early to secure your spot for a memorable morning in the canyon!

Tortoise Trail Run (17K)

• New Event: The Tortoise Trail Run is a 17K trail run starting and finishing at the Visitor Center.
• Course Details: This scenic course features rugged desert trails, portions of the scenic drive, and expansive views of Red Rock Canyon.
• Participants: This event is for runners only and is not timed, but participants should plan to finish within the 3-hour time limit.
• Registration Limit: Participation is limited to 50 runners, so register early to secure your spot for this exciting inaugural run in the canyon!
