Registration Details

• Deadline: June 12 is the last day to guarantee your race premiums.
• Start Time: 6 AM for both distances.
• Packet Pickup: Evening before (June 27th) from 5:30 to 6:30 at the shelter at Caesar Creek Visitor Center.
• Race Day Pickup: Starts at 5:00 AM.

Race Format

• Cupless Race: There will be no cups at any aid stations. You can purchase a collapsible cup for $4.
• Extended Cutoffs: 15 hours for both events. Be aware of extremely hot weather conditions.
• Switching Distances: Participants can now switch from the 50-miler to the 50k mid-race without receiving a DNF.
• Weather Advisory: Carry plenty of fluids as conditions may be hot during the race.

Aid Stations

• Locations: Two manned aid stations at the start/finish and Buckeye Way Shelter on the 50 Springs loop.
• Drop Bags: Only at the Visitor Center (Start/Finish) Aid Station. You will return to this station at the end of each loop.
• Food and Beverages: Aid stations will provide Skratch, water, hummus avocado wraps, pickles, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and more.
• Unmanned Stations: Will have only water and will be checked every 30 minutes.

Course Information

• Course Description: Course starts near the Redbud Shelter, utilizing the Perimeter, Cove, Peninsula, and Fifty Springs trails.
• Distance Breakdown: 50-mile runners complete three loops: 50k runners complete two loops.
• Elevation: The largest hill is about 80', with substantial elevation changes.
• Course Map: Available at Garmin Connect.

Race Conduct

• Trash Policy: Do not litter! Carry all trash with you to the next aid station.
• Distance Switching: Notify the RD or race timers if you switch from 50 miles to 50k.
• Cutoffs: Cutoffs will be enforced for your safety. Stay ahead of the course sweeper.
• Finisher Award: The last official finisher of the 50 miler will receive a cool Tail of the Dawg award.
