I Love Cats 5k & Meowy Mile

Event Overview

Calling all 🐱cat lovers and runners! Join us for the I Love Cats 5K Run/Walk &: Meowy Mile, a purr-fectly fun event celebrating our feline friends while getting active. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just love cats, this event is for you!

Event Details

• Date: May 2, 2027
• Location: ITC Community Sports Park, Northville, MI
• Meowy Mile Start: 9:30 AM
• 5K Run/Walk Start: 10:00 AM

There is plenty of parking at the park and a beautiful playground right near the start/finish. Restrooms on site.

Pricing

• Early Bird Price: $30 until April 19th with a t-shirt guaranteed.
• Standard Price: $35 from April 20th to May 2nd (limited shirts available).
• Race Day Price: $40.

Family Discounts

• Family Participation: We're encouraging families to participate together and are offering special pricing for you!
• Save: $10 when registering 3 or more people from the same household.

Course Information

• Start/Finish: Pavilion near the park at the corner of 8 Mile and Napier.
• 5K Course: An out and back on the paved ITC trail.
• All Abilities: All ages and abilities are welcome: you can run or walk at your own pace.
• Meowy Mile: A shorter fun run for all ages - great for families and kids! Runners, walkers, strollers and wagons all allowed. No bicycles, skateboards or rollerblades please.

Race Perks

• Swag: All participants receive a cat-themed race shirt, a custom finisher medal, and post-race refreshments.
• Support a Cause: A portion of the proceeds, and all donations, will benefit our local charity partner - Feral Kitty Trappers TNR, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Packet Pickup

Will be held the morning of the event starting at 8:30 AM at the ITC Pavilion at the start/finish line.

Awards

The Overall Male &: Female winner of the 5k run/walk and Meowy Mile will receive a special cat-themed gift.

Results

Results will be texted to you once you cross the finish line. They will also be live at the event and on this website afterwards. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
