Event Overview

• Join Us: Come join us for a 5K to kick off the inaugural Cumberland County Parks & Rec Day!
• Scenic Course: This exciting 5K will take you on a scenic course through the Cumberland County Fairgrounds, giving runners and walkers of all ages a great way to start the celebration.
• Post-Race Festivities: After you cross the finish line, stick around and enjoy all the post-race festivities!
• Activities: The fairgrounds will be buzzing with food trucks, bounce houses, vendors, and plenty of family-friendly activities.

Community Engagement

• Bring Friends and Family: Bring your friends, bring your family, and make a day of it — we can’t wait to see you there!
• Showcase Event: Cumberland County Parks & Recreation Day is a new event designed to showcase local sports groups, hobby clubs, fitness instructors and outdoor enthusiasts.
• Learning Opportunities: Experience a day of demonstrations, registrations and learning what Cumberland County has to offer.
• Shirts and Medals: Everyone who registers for the 5K will receive a shirt and finisher medal.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 male and female overall winners.
• Age Group Awards: Awards for age groups (under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

Kids' Run

• Free Kids Run: At noon we will be offering a free 1 mile kids run!
• Registration: We ask you to register so we can get an accurate count of participants.
