10th Annual Blue Ribbon Run

The Citizens to Protect Children and the Elderly are holding their 10th Annual 5K walk/run on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. This event is open to all who wish to participate. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.

Special Team Pricing

• Team Options: We have team options and pricing available.
• Minimum Participants: Team pricing is subject to a minimum of 6 participants.
• Guaranteed Pricing: You will need to have 6 people on a team for the guaranteed price structure outlined on the site.

T-Shirt Cutoff

• August 26: Cutoff to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
• Medals: Medals awarded to all group winners.

Awards and Certificates

• Age Categories: Top Male and Female - 12 and under.
• Age Categories: Top Male and Female - 13-19.
• Age Categories: Top Male and Female - 20-39.
• Age Categories: Top Male and Female - 40-59.
• Age Categories: Top Male and Female - 60 and over.

September - Hunger Action Month

For this year's race, we are wanting to give back to the community. We are asking participants to bring a canned good to the event. For every can you bring, you will get a raffle ticket to enter into a randomized prize drawing. All canned goods will be donated to the local food pantry.
