Our 2nd Annual Break the Silence 5K Race & Walk brings the community together to raise awareness and support for a cause that matters so much. Every step taken helps create a positive impact. Participate your way — run, walk, or simply show your support. Donations are greatly appreciated. This year we are donating to Care Portal, an organization that connects vulnerable children and families with caring neighbors in their own community. Access to support and resources plays a critical role in child abuse prevention. When families have stable housing, food security, mental health support, and community connections, stress is reduced and protective factors are strengthened. Supporting families early and consistently helps create safer, healthier environments for children to thrive.
