East Atchison's Run With the Wolves

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Support the East Atchison Wolves Cross Country Team by participating in the second run with the wolves 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run. This event supports both casual joggers/walkers looking to get some exercise and socialize, as well as serious runners looking for a new personal best.

🗺️ Course Details

• Start Location: Tarkio Activity Center parking lot
• Route: Moves onto the streets of Tarkio down and around Niedermeyer Park, back up to the TAC, around Tarkio High School and finishes back in the TAC parking lot where it started.
• Maps: Available at this link
• Support: Lead vehicle, runner, and volunteer field marshals will be present to help direct participants.

💧 Water Stations

• Start/Finish Line: Water bottles provided
• Middle Station: Water station around the 1-1.25 mile mark at Niedermeyer Park

🏅 Awards and Medals

• Age Groups: Top 3 runners in age groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
• Children's Medals: All children who finish the 5k or the 1 mile fun run under the age of 10 will receive awards.

📝 Registration Information

• Event Shirt: All runners who signup before July 3rd receive a complementary event shirt.
• Timing: Runners who signup before July 11th will be timed and eligible for medaling.
• Same Day Signup: Available, but extra shirts and timing cannot be guaranteed.
• Pacers: Available running various times to help you reach your time goals: 20:00, 22:00, 24:00, 26:00, 28:00, 30:00.
