East Atchison's Run With the Wolves

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Support the East Atchison Wolves Cross Country Team by participating in the second run with the wolves 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run. This event supports both casual joggers/walkers looking to get some exercise and socialize, as well as serious runners looking for a new personal best.

📍 Race Details

• Date: 2025-07-12
• Location: N 13th St, Tarkio, MO
• Course: Starts in the parking lot of the Tarkio Activity Center, moves onto the streets of Tarkio down and around Niedermeyer Park, back up to the TAC, around Tarkio High School, and finishes back in the TAC parking lot.

💧 Support & Amenities

• Water Stations: Water bottles will be provided at the start/finish line, and there will be a water station around the 1-1.25 mile mark at Niedermeyer Park.
• Pacing Available: Members of the cross country team will act as pacers. Pacing times include 20:00, 22:00, 24:00, 26:00, 28:00, and 30:00.
• Shirts: All runners who sign up before July 1st receive a complementary event shirt.
• Day-of Signup: Runners can also sign up on the day of the event, but availability of shirts and timing cannot be guaranteed.

🏅 Awards

• Medals: Awards will be given to the top 3 runners in each age category: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
• Children's Awards: All children who finish the 5k or the 1 mile fun run under the age of 10 will receive a medal.
• Sign Up for Timing: All runners who signup before July 12th will be timed and eligible for medaling.

• Donations: If you would like to support the Team without running, donations are being accepted, and shirts are available for purchase.
