Event Overview
Welcome to the first Red, White & Blue Race! This event benefits Code 3 Mind Health, Inc. We are a local non-profit that provides mind health services for first responders.
Race Course
- Start Point: The event begins at the south coastal trail (Noyo Headlands Park).
- 5k Route: The course continues north with the 5k turnaround being near the compass rose.
- 10k Route: Runners will continue past historic Glass Beach, crossing the Pudding Creek Trestle with the turnaround near the "silver gate" entrance.
- Half-Marathon Route: The course proceeds along the Haul Road, through Mackerricher State Park and turns around just before the entrance to Ten Mile State Preserve.
Course Experience
This course is oceanfront, with epic views every step of the way! For those of you that have participated in races in this area before, it will look very much like the Whale Run course!
Race Amenities
- Tee Shirts: All runners will receive a tee shirt - choice of long sleeve or short sleeve.
- Refreshments: End of race will have fruit, water, and coffee available.
- Continuous Coffee: Coffee will be available for the entire event.
Awards
- Finisher Medals: All half-marathon participants will receive finisher medals.
- Top Finish Medals: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for all age categories.
- Award Baskets: Award baskets for the 1st male and female finisher in each race (1/2, 10k, 5k), filled with local goodies!
- Kiddie Awards: All kiddie competitors get a finisher prize, but awards will be given to the first three to finish.
