The SPORT SPECTACULAR 5K & 10K celebrates how running helps every sport and every sport helps running.

Whether you're a runner, soccer player, basketball lover, volleyball athlete, or part of any sports community, this event brings athletes of all backgrounds together for a fun and energetic morning at the beach.

Running builds endurance, strength, and mental focus. Qualities that benefit every sport. At the same time, cross-training through other sports can make us stronger, faster, and healthier runners.

This event is designed to celebrate that connection while encouraging everyone to stay active, try new sports, and build community through movement.

SPORTS EXPO
A Sports & Fitness Expo will be open race morning featuring:

• Youth and adult sports programs
• Local clubs and teams
• Coaches and instructors
• Fitness and cross-training opportunities

Before the main race, join us for some playful sports-themed activities at our EXPO

If you’re looking to discover a new sport, improve your training, or connect with your local sports community, the expo is the perfect place to start.

Sports organizations and teams are invited to host booths and share their programs with participants and spectators. Please email info@kourseevents.com if interested in hosting a sports booth. 

RACE DAY SCHEDULES:

6:30 am  Registration OPENS
               Shirts are given with bibs at registration.  Medals when you finish 

8:00 am START Kid's Dash 

8:30 am Mass START of 5K/10K Mile

9:15 am Start of 5K AWARDS CEREMONY

9:30 am Start of the 10K AWARD CEREMONY

Bring EXTRA CASH FOR STREET TACOS, AGUA FRESCA, FRESH FRUIT, GALLETINAS AND SPECIALTY COFFEES.

FINISHER MEDALS to every Finisher

AGE DIVISION AWARDS:
5-year Age Spans:  3 deep with 5-year age spans:  5k and 5 Mile  1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80&over 

Top  3 Overall Trophies to Males & Females     Plus award to Oldest finisher. Youngest finisher. 

Pets: Friendly Pets are allowed and must be leashed at all times and accompanied by a Run /Walk participant.  Please use a leash of 5 ft or less, for the safety of all pets and runners.  Line up towards the back of the pack at the start and keep to the side of the race field on the course.

Stroller: Families can bring strollers, but agree to use at their own risk.  We do ask that you line up towards the back of the pack at the start and keep to the side of the race field on the course. Note, that only registered participants with a BIB will receive a finisher medal. Please make sure your BIB is in the front and visible to our volunteers.  And watch for cyclists enjoying the same beach bike path you are running on.

The race will take place rain or shine.  

RESTROOMS are in the public buildings at the end of each of the parking lots.
