Plains Easter Rabbit Race

Race Overview

Track, Field, and Cross-Country Fund Raiser. RUN or WALK -- Sanders County Timing

Our athletes do the bulk of the coordination and setup for this race and will join you on the run.

Race Rabbits

• Select athletes: will be 'Rabbits' during the race and will run a pre-designated time to help you meet your 5K goals.
• Finishing time: Each 'Rabbit' will have a finishing time they will run on their back.
• Pacing: Just stick with them and they’ll pace you through the race.

Fundraiser Purpose

• Support: We help support the Sanders County Running Club annual scholarship.
• Team support: We also support team coolers and travel costs for post-season.

Registration Details

• Pre-registration: Please pre-register online to minimize logistics during race day.
• Cost increases: Registration cost increases the closer we get to race day, register early.
• T-Shirt: T-Shirt is not included in the initial registration: it is an extra $10 if you elect to receive a shirt.
• Race-Day registration: Cash or check will be from 8:00-8:30 am at the start line. ($30 w/o Shirt, $40 with)

Packet Pickup

Packet Pick-up will be on race day from 8:30-9:30 am at the start line.

The Course and Events

5K Loop starting and finishing at the Plains beach boat launch. We will also have a kids 1 mile run that will start at 11:00 am.

• Pancake feed: The Lions Club pancake feed will be across the parking lot (fairgrounds pavilion) until noon and has offered $5 off if you run/walk the race.
• Easter Egg Hunt: The fairgrounds will also be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 1:00 pm.

• Free entry: Current PHS Track Athletes who are helping with the race get free entry.
