- Experience: Participants will run, jog, or walk through a course featuring water blasts, sprinklers, and other refreshing surprises.

- Timing: The 5k will be professionally RFID timed by Race Ready Events.

- Where is the race? Lawrence County High School Track. The race will start and finish on the track around the football field.
- Event Date: Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026 - 9:00 am start time.
- Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive prior to 8:15 AM to leave yourself adequate time to check in, receive your runner packet, and get warmed up.
- Race Day Registration: Yes -- we will allow race day registrations up until 15 minutes before race start.
- Included Items: Yes, if you register by the t-shirt deadline of May 10th, you will receive your t-shirt on race day.
- Awards: Overall and age group winners in the 5k will get an award: finishers of the 1 mile will receive a finishers ribbon.
- Strollers: Yes, strollers are welcome.
- Allowed on Course: Only runners, joggers, walkers, baby strollers/joggers, restrained pets, and wheelchairs are allowed: no bikes, scooters, etc.
- Pets: Yes! Well-socialized and leashed dogs are welcome.
- Timing: Yes, this event is professionally RFID chip timed by Race Ready Events.
- Course Length: A 5k course is 3.1 miles.
- Experience Level: No — all ages and paces are welcome!
