Race Day Experience
Weather: The Tinsel is a Sunday Triathlon run on a usually sunny, yet crisp, Southern California day with all roads closed and the coffee hot.
5K Course: The 5K run takes place in a scenic, calm area of West Hemet, California in Riverside County.
Bike Ride: Known as a "flat & fast" course, the 12 mile bike ride gives the rider a feeling of being on the country roadside.
Finish Line: The race ends in the 25 meter heated pool at West Valley High School, where triathletes will swim 150 meters (up & back 6 times) to the finish line, receiving a unique Tinsel finisher medal.
Awards Ceremony
Timing: The awards ceremony follows immediately after the race.
Recognition: The bling is top shelf, adding to the excitement of the event.
