Run for the Chick Mission

Hi! My name is Eden Levy, and I'm a high school junior from North Jersey. I am truly privileged and excited to engage in the Chick Mission's High School Ambassador Program! As an advocate in this program, I am empowered to take the initiative and organize my own fundraiser in support of an often-overlooked yet critical cause -- oncofertility.

The right to start a family should belong to every woman. But for young women diagnosed with cancer, that right is often stripped away. Intensive chemotherapy treatment can permanently render young women infertile -- and many insurance plans leave these women in the dark. The Chick Mission is a 501c nonprofit organization that fights relentlessly to combat under-covered insurance plans that fail to include fertility preservation for young women with cancer. Through unwavering advocacy and direct financial assistance, the Chick Mission has created a meaningful and lasting impact. Every contribution to my fundraiser supports women battling cancer through Hope Grants that help cover the cost of egg freezing ahead of lifesaving treatment and can help spread life-changing awareness.

As a track and field athlete at Cresskill High School, I believe the best way to support the Chick Mission is by bringing our community together through a charity running event on the school track.

Registration will be $20 per participant ($17 for Cresskill High School students, $14 for children under 13 and adults over 65), and all are welcome to run, walk, or simply come out to support. This event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, with a raindate of Sunday, April 26, 2026. 100% of the proceeds will be going towards my personal fundrasier in support of the Chick Mission. 

The event will feature a variety of races for all ages and experience levels, including:
• Male and female mile races
• Male and female 100-meter dashes
• A kids’ 800-meter run
• A community mile walk

I want to contribute to this powerful cause to help build a reality where women are not defined by their cancer, but instead empowered to live a brighter and hopeful future. With your support, you can be a part of this special mission as well.
