End DWI and support Rehoboth June Camp! 5k, 10k, 1-mile Kid's run, and 1-mile walk/run

Event Overview

We have joined forces! The 2026 End DWI and support Rehoboth June Camp event will provide runners and walkers an opportunity to enjoy a competitive, timed, 5k or 10k run, a kid's 1-mile race (new this year!) or a non-competitive 1-mile walk in the fresh autumn air, surrounded by the majestic red rocks and beautiful scenery of Church Rock, NM. The 5k and 10k courses are entirely on dirt trails (except for the start/finish line). There are also law enforcement and EMS competitions for the 5k, details below. The purpose of this event is for families who have been impacted by drunk driving crashes, to bring awareness to the issue, and also raise money for "June Camp" which is available to all children, grades K through 8, from any school for the first 3 weeks of June. ALL MONEY RAISED FROM THIS EVENT WILL STAY IN GALLUP. Half of the money raised will be for the "DWI Memorial Wall Project" (email Jennifer at [email protected] for details) and the other half will be for Rehoboth's "June Camp" program. Event Details

• 1-mile walk/run: The course is on pavement and suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Dogs are allowed on the 1-mile walk course ONLY and must be on a leash at all times.
• 5k and 10k runs: Timed by Rocky Mountain Timing Company. Each runner will receive a bib with a timing chip.
• Awards: Awards for 1st-3rd place in each age group, male and female, and 1st – 3rd overall, male and female.
• Fast Course: A flat course with a few sandy spots for your enjoyment. (course map will be added soon)

Registration Fees

• 1-mile walk/run: Adult $20 (19 and up), Youth $5 (5-18)
• 5k Run: Adult $35 (19 and up), Youth $25 (5-18)
• 10k Run: Adult $45 (19 and up), Youth $35 (5-18)
• Kids: 4 and under are FREE

Law Enforcement and EMS Registration

• 1-mile run/walk: $10
• 5k or 10k: $20 individually ($100 for a team of 5 people: must have at least 2 females on each team)
• Customized Trophy: Winning team takes home the “Traveling Trophy” (Customized UFC Belt!).
• Last Year’s Winner: A team from the McKinley County Sheriff's office won 1st place.

What to Expect

• Dress Appropriately: Average temperature: high of 73F low of 43F in Gallup in September.
• Aid Stations: There will be aid/water/gatorade stations at the 1.5 mile mark, 3 mile mark, and 4.2 mile mark.
• Music and Cheer: Music at the start/finish line and people cheering along the way.
• Results: Available immediately after each race (www.rmtiming.co) and awards will start at 10:45 a.m.

Day Before Event

• Registration: Online registration is encouraged and open until the races start.
• Packet Pick-Up: Will take place at Camille's Sidewalk Cafe on September 11, 2026, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
• Registration on Race Day: Starts at 6:30 a.m.
• Payment: Please bring the exact cash amount for day-of registration.

Event Schedule

• 6:30 - 8:00 am - 5k and 10k day-of registration
• 6:30 - 8:20 am - 1-mile run/walk registration
• 8:00 a.m. - 10k Race begins
• 8:10 a.m. - 5k Race begins
