Event Overview
The Freedom Festival Elkhorn 5K Run/walk kicks off the Afton Freedom Festival. The start/finish is under the World’s Largest Elkhorn Arch in Afton, WY. All proceeds from the race go to the Amputee Blade Runners organization (ABR). ABR is a non-profit organization that helps provide free running prosthetics for amputees. Kids Run
- Cost: FREE, but a small donation to ABR would be appreciated!
- Registration: No pre-registration required.
- Start Time: 9:00 AM under the arch!
Registration Information
- Included: Registration includes a custom race mug. Guaranteed to the first 125 registered!
- Awards: 1st Overall Male and Female and 1st Male and Female Masters (40+).
- Ages: Awards for 1st Male and Female in 10-year age groups.

Packet Pickup and Event Details
- Pickup Times: Thursday, July 2, 1-5 PM at Wild Wyoming Outfitters (445 S Washington St, Afton, WY 83110) and Friday, July 3, 6:30-7:45 AM at the start/finish area.
- Post-Race Activities: Stick around for the Freedom Festival on July 3 including the Star Valley street market, bounce houses, Live DJ and dancing, cornhole tournament., and more!
- Upcoming Events: Come back on July 4 for the parade, Ranch Rodeo, and fireworks!
