Footin' It For Family 5k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Footin’ It For Family is a nonprofit organization made up of family and friends. We first came together in 2012 to form a 5K team in honor of those in our families who had been affected by cancer. As a team, we participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Elmira, NY from 2012-2016.

💵 Our Achievements

• Fundraising Total: In those five years, our team raised and donated $15,500.
• Host Year: In 2017, we formed a committee and decided to host our own 5K race to benefit our local communities.
• Last Year's Success: Our first year, we were able to donate $5,500 and this year we raised $35,000 for the second consecutive year!
• Total Donations: In our first nine years, we have proudly donated over $200,000 to the Ann and Carl Myers Cancer Center in Dansville, NY.
