Rocky 50 Trail Race

Race Date

• Date: Saturday, February 13, 2027.

Event Overview

• Background: Rocky Raccoon got so big a few years ago we ended up splitting the 50 mile and 50km distances onto the following weekend. We also have a half marathon now!
• Course: The Rocky 50 Trail Race is a standalone event that is perfect for first-time ultra runners or those looking for a fast and scenic trail race.
• Experience: The course features just enough change in elevation to be considered a real trail run, lots of exposed tree roots, beautiful pine trees, cool bridges, a gorgeous east Texas lake, wildlife, and a wonderful set of aid stations and volunteers.

Swag Information

• Swag Items: Every racer will receive some cool swag. If you register before January 5, you will receive a shirt.
• Post-Deadline Swag: If you register after January 5, you will receive a variety of items such as a trucker cap, neck gaiter, etc.

• Participant Cap: Due to a limited amount of space at Huntsville State Park, all Rocky 50 races have a participant cap.

• Distances: Rocky 50 mile, 50km, and 13.1mi are all on Saturday, February 13, 2027.

• Camping: Reservations are open for the 2027 Rocky 50 Campsites.
