Run A Muck Cross Country 5K and 10K

- Description: This unique running event is set on a private organic farm. Challenge your family on a real farm-style 5k cross country course.
Course Information
- Terrain: The course winds through beautiful wooded trails and fields.
- 5K Course: Mostly flat but includes water/mud jumps, hay bales, logs, and more.
- 10K Course: Completes the 5K before heading into additional hills and technical terrain.
- Dog-Friendly: This event includes a Dog Division for our canine competitors.
Schedule of Events
- 8:00 am: Registration and packet pick-up starts. Race day registration available.
- 9:10 am: SPLASH & DASH 1K Kids Race (10 and under). Register on race day for $1.
- 9:30 am: 10K Run.
- 10:00 am: 5K Run and Walk and Dogs - on leashes.
Awards Ceremony and Potluck Lunch to follow sack race.
Event Shirt
Participants can choose to purchase a custom tie-dyed long sleeve cotton shirt for $18 during the registration process (before June 5). A limited supply of shirts will be available for $25 on race day.
Finisher, Top and Age Group Awards
All finishers of the 1K Kids Race, 5K and 10K will receive a white spruce seedling.
5K Awards
- Categories: Overall M/F, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Ultimate Masters (60+), Supreme Masters (70+).
- Age Groups: 11 and under, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
10K Awards
- Categories: Overall M/F, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Ultimate Masters (60+), Supreme Masters (70+).
- Age Groups: 13 and under, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Special Category Awards
- Categories: Oldest, Youngest, Heaviest, Slowest.
Groups
Coaches with a team of at least 5 athletes can contact Deanna at deeskelcy@gmail.com for group registration. Fee: $15 per athlete.
Post Race Refreshments & Potluck
Participants can enjoy farm-fresh produce and are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Paper plates and utensils will be provided. Please remember to avoid littering on the organic farm.
Overnight Camping
Free camping is available the night before the race. A bonfire will be organized, and water and a porta-potty will be provided. Please call Stu at 231-893-1311 to reserve a space, and note, no large trailers or generators are allowed.
