Get ready to lace up, turn up the volume, and take it back to the raddest decade ever! The 3rd Annual Back to the 80s Run/Walk is bringing all the neon, big hair, and retro beats to the streets with the 5K &: 10K and a live DJ spinning 80s hits, and a post-race party.

• Theme: 80s inspired event with neon colors and big hair.
• Activities: Enjoy a live DJ and a post-race party.
• Participants: Runners, walkers, and families are all welcome.
• Attire: Dress in your best 80s gear — think leg warmers and bright colors!

Packet Pickup

• Pickup Time: 6:15 AM - 7:30 AM
• Event Start Time: 8 AM
• National Anthem: 7:58 AM
• Friend Pickup: You may pick up packets for friends and family (up to 5 packets).

T-Shirt Information

• Cutoff Date: August 29th, 2026
• Note: If you miss the t-shirt deadline, you will not receive a shirt during race day pickup.
• Feedback: Check back after the race for any leftover shirts.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Male and Female awards given.
• Division Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in various age divisions.
• Age Divisions: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Community Service: Verified community service hours available.
• Free Entry: Gain free entry to an upcoming LaceUp race.
• Responsibilities: Help with aid stations or course monitoring.
• Fun Elements: Bring pom poms, signs, or costumes to cheer on participants!

Parking Details

Parking: Free parking is available for all participants.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

• No Refund: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine. A strict no refund policy is in effect.
• Weather Policy: Start times may be delayed due to extreme weather conditions.
• Cancellation: Events may be canceled if conditions are unsafe, at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Alternate Options: If you cannot participate, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal.
