About this race
Event Overview
Every year since 2020, during our organization's Celebration of Life: Cancer & Health Awareness Weekend, we have hosted our annual Celebration of Life 5K Walk/Run, which began during the pandemic as a way to encourage our community to stay active while honoring the value of life.
Health Awareness Focus
Today, the event continues to promote health, wellness, and awareness of critical health issues, including:
- Cancer: Awareness and support for cancer fighters and survivors.
- Sarcoidosis: Education about this chronic condition.
- Diabetes: Promoting healthy lifestyles to manage the disease.
- Heart Disease: Raising awareness to prevent heart-related issues.
