Race Overview
Welcome to the first ever Children of the Sun Half Marathon, presented by CENTURY 21!
This is Spokane’s newest late-summer race experience, taking runners down one of the city’s most underrated paved trails. Whether you're chasing a PR, tackling your first half marathon, or just looking for a fun local race with a laid-back atmosphere, this event was built for you.
Race Details
All three distances — Half Marathon, 12K, and 5K — take place entirely on the Children of the Sun Trail in Spokane, starting and ending at Wildhorse Park. Expect smooth pavement, rolling elevation changes, and a course that rewards smart pacing. It’s fast enough to race, challenging enough to stay interesting, and beginner-friendly from start to finish.
100% of all donations go to Boys and Girls Clubs of Spokane County!
