Gibbstown Bridge 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Location: 101 Old Ferry Road, Creole, LA
• Date: April 11, 2026
• Start Point: The race will start on Old Ferry Road, near the south end of the Gibbstown/Conway Lebleu Bridge.
• Route Details: The path goes north over the bridge out 1.55 miles and then back across the bridge to the finish.

• Experience: While on the bridge participants will have sweeping views of the coastal marsh and the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge.
• Photography: Don’t forget to capture the breathtaking scenery during your run!
• Terrain: Enjoy a unique bridge running experience.
• Safety: The pathway is suitable for all participants.

• Age Group Medals: Generally in 10-year groupings.
• T-shirts: T-shirts are cotton unisex.
• Awards: Top performers will receive recognition.

🚗 Parking & Registration

• Parking: Available under the south side of the bridge and along Old Ferry Road.
• Packet Pick-Up: Morning of the race from 6:30 - 7:30 AM at the bridge.
• Arrival Time: Please show up no later than 30 minutes prior to race time which is 8 AM.
• Race Day Registration: Cost is $40.

• Charity: Proceeds benefit the Cameron Preservation Alliance - Sabine Pass Lighthouse Inc.
• Purpose: A 501(c)3 charity dedicated to restoring the Sabine Pass Lighthouse in Southwest Cameron Parish.
