Costume Contest

Unleash your inner hero or embrace your inner villain—because it’s time to save (or conquer) the day before the race even starts!

• Time: Show off your best superhero or villain look at 6:50 AM, just before the Kids Dash and race start.
• Prizes: Win a $25 Gift Card, Free future race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack

Race Distances & Awards

• Kids Dash: 50-meter untimed dash (Ages 10 & under) Includes a race tee, medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: For all ages and experience levels (untimed)
• 5K: Chip timed (3.11 miles)
• Quarter Marathon: Chip timed (6.55 miles)
• Half Marathon: Chip timed (13.1 miles)

Standard Age Group Awards

1st Overall Male & Female – Bigfoot Trophy

Top 3 in each age group receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze pins

Event Schedule

• 5:30 AM – 6:40 AM: Packet Pickup ends 20 minutes before the race starts!
• 6:50 AM: Costume Contest
• 6:55 AM: Kids Dash starts
• 7:00 AM: National Anthem & Race Start

Post-Race Festivities

• Live Results: Awards ceremony
• Dance Party: DJ playing all the hits
• Medals: Bigfoot Trophy & age group awards presentation

Volunteer Opportunities

Be part of the action and run the 5K if you volunteer! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. Limited availability afterwards.
• Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).
• Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads.
