🎉 Impact and Purpose

• Fundraising: THE GIRLFRIENDS AND PINK BRIGADE HAVE RAISED OVER $900,000 OVER THE LAST 18 YEARS!
• Annual Event: The 19th Annual Girlfriends Run offers a Half Marathon, 10K & 6K designed specifically for women.
• Community Building: The event encourages women to come together to do something good for themselves.
• Important Cause: Help support a very important women’s cause.

💖 Inspiration Behind the Run

• Honoring Joleen: We started this event to honor and support one of our BFFs, Joleen Skarberg, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
• Family Participation: Joleen continues to run it every year with her daughters, sisters, nieces, cousins and girlfriends!
• Spot Joleen: Watch for her – she’ll be wearing #1!

🚶‍♀️ Participation

• Running and Walking: About half the gals run, half walk, and many do a combination of running and walking.
• Finish Line: It doesn’t matter how you get to the finish line, as long as you get there!
