The 16th Annual Telluride Foundation: Run for Good
Telluride's Fourth of July Foot Race

What: The 16th Annual Telluride Foundation Rundola benefitting the Good Neighbor Fund. The Rundola is an open registration uphill foot race from Telluride to San Sophia ridge via the Telluride Trail. Beginning this year, Rundola will feature a single course route via the Telluride Trail. U.S. Forest Service permitting allows for only one approved course. We appreciate your understanding and are excited to continue bringing hikers and runners the incredible mountain experience and community spirit that make the Rundola such a special tradition.

Where: Runners start at the base of the gondola on the town of Telluride side and finish at the top of the ridge. Runners and hikers will climb up the Telluride Trail (2.4 miles) and an elevation gain of 1,800 feet.

When: The run will start at 7:30 A.M. on July 4th. Runners should walk back to Telluride or Mountain Village after the race. The finish line & timing will close at 9:30 a.m.

Who: Anyone who wants to race, run, hike! You must be registered and have a race bib to participate. No dogs, please!

Categories: By age group & gender (10 & under, 11-13 years; 14-18 years; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69, 70-79, 80+)

Why: Along with incorporating a fun outdoor challenge into our community's 4th of July festivities, all proceeds from the Rundola benefit The Good Neighbor Fund (GNF). GNF provides emergency assistance for local families and individuals with limited resources in times of financial crisis. The goal of the GNF is to help individuals stay in the community and households stay intact during times of financial crisis. The Fund achieves this by providing one-time hardship grants to assist with certain qualified needs, including housing, transportation or medical treatment.

Awards: Podium and breakfast will be held at Oak at 9 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 athletes in each category. Fastest Overall Woman & Fastest Overall Man receive a grand prize.

2026 Sponsors: Alpine Bank, The Basis Point, Exceptional Stays, Latitude Insurance, Telluride Luxury, Telluride Properties / Forbes & Two Skirts.

Partners: Thank you to Oak Restaurant, Telluride Ski & Golf, U.S. Forest Service, and the Town of Mountain Village

NO REFUNDS, NO BIB TRANSFERS. No bib or swag pick up after 7:20 am (if swag is still available) on July 4th.
