About the Race

• Purpose: The Race Against Gun Violence (RAGV) celebrates the life-changing work of community organizations and provides a dynamic platform for people who care about ending gun violence to not only raise direct unrestricted funds, but also connect and grow their network.
• Charity Partners: Qualifying 501(c)(3) Charity Partners get 10 free entries to kickoff fundraising through the RAGV platform.
• Impact: The RAGV has raised over $1 million in unrestricted funds since its founding in 2014.
• Participation: Over 1500 run/walk participants joined the 2025 Chicago event, alone.

Community Engagement

• Collaborations: Strides for Peace has partnered with 300+ organizations in its lifetime.
• Involvement: Join LA's inaugural Race Against Gun Violence and become part of the growing national network.
