Grady's Superhero Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: Grady's Superhero Run is a family-friendly 5k and kid's fun run.
• New Option: Virtual run option available this year.
• Celebration: In-person run will include a bounce house, kids’ games, prize giveaways, and a DJ.
• Location: Hosted in Dorchester, IA at Knotty Marie's yard with a light meal served (free will donation).

• Start Point: The race begins in front of Knotty Marie's on Waterloo Creek Dr.
• Course: The fun run will head west on Waterloo Creek Drive approximately 1.5 miles and loop back to the starting spot.
• Date: The event will take place on August 7, 2026.
• Address: 612 Waterloo Creek Dr., Dorchester, IA.

💖 Purpose of the Event

• Memorial: This run honors Grady Lundgren-Hammel, an ambitious, loving, energetic boy.
• Legacy: Grady loved agriculture and Dorchester and fought hard against a rare NUT Protein Carcinoma.
• Community Support: Grady's family received immense support from the tri-state area.
• Impact: Proceeds will support families facing medical issues and fund The Grady Lundgren-Hammel memorial scholarship at local schools.
