About this race
Event Overview
Come enjoy the Labor Day Dash 5k on Saturday, September 5th, at Hidden Valley Regional Park.
The race starts at 9am.
Awards and Participation
- T-Shirt: All participants will receive a sport tek t-shirt.
- Medals: Finishers will receive a finisher medal and a sticker.
- Age Groups: Top three male and female finishers will receive an overall award medal: top three in each age group and gender will receive a ribbon.
- Age Requirement: Ages 5 and up are welcome.
Course Details
- Terrain: This is an all trail run with a mostly flat course.
- Elevation: There are a few rolling hills.
- Scenery: The course offers beautiful views.
- Sanctioning: The Labor Day Dash 5k is a sanctioned USA Track and Field event.
Event Services
- Emergency Services: EMS services will be provided by REMSA.
- Service Dogs: Only service dogs are allowed at this event because this is a sanctioned USATF race.

Fundraising Purpose
This is a fundraiser which benefits Azteca FC.
- Mission: Azteca FC is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on providing athletic opportunities in various sports.
- USATF Club: Azteca FC is a registered USATF club in the Pacific association (Region 14).
- Funding: The 5k races hosted by Azteca FC help fundraise for sending athletes to regional and national competitions.
- Age Range: USATF facilitates competitions year-round from ages 3 to 100.
