Green Lake Road Race

Location

• Address: 159 Lake Ave S, Spicer, MN
• Packet Pick Up: Zorbaz parking lot - look for tent
• Start of Race: Between Mel’s Sport Shop and the fishing access.
• Arrival: Arrive 10 minutes early for pre-race meeting.

Description

• Event: The Green Lake Road Race is a 12 mile run that can be completed individually, as a 2-person relay, or as a 4-person relay.
• Participants: Only the 12-mile run will be scored in the series.
• Start Time: Race start time is 7 am.
• Meeting: Plan to be at the starting line ten minutes ahead of your start time for the pre-race meeting.

Race Guidelines

• Visible Bib: You should have your bib number attached on the front of your shirt just above the waist to get the best read-rate.
• Finish Line: Bib numbers need to be visible when you cross the finish line.
• Water Stops: Water stop locations at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 mile marks - Gatorade upon request.
• Trash Policy: Please DO NOT drop cups on the course.

Utilities

• Patrolling Vehicles: Two utility vehicles will be patrolling the course.
• Extra Water: Extra water will be available on the carts.
• Refreshments: Upon finishing the race, refreshments will be available for each runner.
• Results: Times will be available at www.pickleevents.com.

Awards

• Location: Awards presentation will be behind Zorbaz on the deck.
• Time: Estimated time of 9:15 am.
• Medals: Medals for the top female and top male.
• Divisions: Medals for places 1-3 in each division.

Special Instructions for the Relays

• Bus Service: Bus service will be available for the relays starting from Spicer Legion parking lot.
• Departure: The bus will leave at 7:05 am after the race starts.
• Relay Spots: Relay spots will be at the same locations as 2023.
• Restrooms: Available at each exchange point.

Race Entry Includes

• Shirt: Race shirt (guaranteed if registered by June 22nd).
• Refreshments: Refreshments after the race.

Race Day Schedule

• 6am: Packet Pick Up - Zorbaz parking lot, look for the tent.
• 7am: Race Starts - arrive to the start line 10 minutes before for a pre-race meeting.
• 7:05am: The relay bus takes off to drop off relay participants.
• 9:15am: Estimated start time for awards behind Zorbaz on the deck.

Runner's Shirts

Runners pre-registered by June 22nd will be guaranteed their shirt size. After June 23rd, race shirts are on a first come first served basis until sold out.

Divisions

Men: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85+.

Women: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85+.

Family: Average time for 2 runners of the same family (A. Husband-Wife | B. Parent-Child | C. Brothers and/or Sisters).

Relay Teams: 2-person, 4-person. No breakdown by gender or age.
